Nag's Pix 2 !
Welcome
to my new site 'Nag's Pix 2 !'. A project i've been meaning to get on the rails for some time now. My main aim is to tidy up and show my images in a more organized and user friendly way unlike my previous site. This will take time but i'm sure it will be worth it once finished. My 'Most Recent' group will be kept bang upto date so any visitors can see what i've been upto. Please feel free to call back and view any added groups/collections that will have appeared.
Please note:
All Groups / Collections are 'Ongoing' so new images will appear on a regular basis.
Ok, time to "Crack-On" !.

2nd July 2009. It's like a deep breath of the freshest of air to show a new working on this site, and here it is !. On only my second attempt to capture this move in conditions we all crave, a blast north up the A34 was needed. After sharing a fuel pump at the Sutton Scotney services with Wayne Rooney only then did i realise we were actually pushing it for time. A clear run enabled an early arrival and once Mr Ken Harris arrived a good 10 minutes after us, GG & i wondered what all the mobile throwing was all about ! !. 'Colas' pair Class 47727 & 47749 rapidly roll through Kidlington powering the 6Z48 (13:05) Burton yard - Dollands Moor hooded steel carriers in very welcome supreme sunlight. 'Hel Jan' !  'New ! ! !'  (113)
29th June 2009. Freightliner Heavy Haul 66596 brings the '6O49' Neasden - Wool empty sand train through the middle of the New Forest at Deerleap near Colbury.  'New ! ! !'  (45)
27th June 2009. Although running late & therefore allowing the sun to pop itself on the nose it's clear to see that this working runs completely at the wrong time of day for the time of year. Three days after enjoying early morning & late evening golden light this shot to my own admission came across rather insignificant to those. Like others up & down the line the traction was clearly too tempting so at least this particular Class 60 is "In the Bag" if she goes 'Bang !' (or perhaps is placed into 'Quarantine') ! ! !. 'Transrail' branded Class 60061 'Alexander Graham Bell' brings the '6B33' Theale - Margam Murco's through Baulking hauling only thirteen of the mixed bogie tanks, surely a record low ?.  'New ! ! !'  (20)
24th June 2009 @ 06:53. Was it worth it ? . Damn Right it was !. New to site 'Top' location 'Pwll' boasts stunning views from dawn till dusk. It also offers 'very' early birds a pretty tasty worm !. '199' road miles & 3 plus hours later i arrived not knowing whether my target had indeed passed with 'GG' gen reporting a 73 minute early departure ! !. Rather 'Sheepishly' i approached the classic 'Pwll' vantage point but it was soon clear that i had in fact made it in good time. In stupendous promised sunlight '6 Bogie 13' thuds by with a full load of mixed bogie tanks heading to the oil terminal at Westerleigh having been loaded at Robeston (Milford Haven). Two-Tone Grey Class 60013 'Robert Boyle' provides the very impressive Tug. Appreciation must & will go to Mr Martin Bray for all his local expertise.  'New ! ! !'  (15)
24th June 2009. Grange Court sees '6V36' the loaded Lackenby - Margam slab train rush by behind EWS liveried 66061. Not being a local i'm unaware of any history that may be attached to the long time un-used loop to the left of the frame.  'New ! ! !'  (14)
